'Beatles For Sale' Parlophone PMC 1240, first 'Mono' pressing on the

yellow / black UK Parlophone label.

 

Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Parlophone Co. Ltd.' rim text.

The 'MT' tax/price code is stamped only on the label side two.

Housed within an outer laminated, inner-flipback mono gatefold sleeve.

Released in UK at 04. December 1964.

 

Complete with its original rice-paper-lined ‘Use Emitex...’ inner sleeve.

Matrix numbers: XEX 503-3N & XEX 504-4N, Stamper numbers: 2 5/GPP & 3/TD

The record is visual excellent
(one very small scratch at side one at the begin of track one; any hairlines under strong light).

The record is audio near mint
(any light clicks at side one at start of track one and between track two and three; no jumps; no repeats).

Both labels are excellent+ to near mint

(no writing; no tears; light spindle wear; no stains; no missing paper).

The fold open sleeve is very good+
(no writing; no split; no tears; no stains; wear at the corners; no missing paper; nice spine).

The original inner sleeve is very good
(no writing; no missing paper; 4cm(1.5 inches) split at right and bottom; no tears, no stains).
